When Judge Sotomayor was recently asked by a representative from South Carolina what she thought about the rights of the unborn, she responded ” I never really thought about the rights of the unborn”. That makes her either the stupidest person I know or a deliberate liar. Either one should preclude her from consideration for Supreme Court justice.

I don't think the lone pro-life activist is that striking. The democrats could care less about her abortion stance, other than that she would uphold abortion. If we are to keep her from being confirmed, than we need to attack on the front that can damage her the most in the eyes of the democrats and the nation… affirmative action being one of them.

Ms. Sotomayor's position on abortion and gun control as well as her recent and past judicial history cause me dismay that she may find a seat on the Supreme Court. Please proceed cautiously before confirming her.

Why aren't there surveilance camera's in our jails and prisons. You see how video camera's set up on police cars have reveiled some remarkable behavior.
I recently wrote a warden to confront a problem with smoking in the dorms and the non smokers having to breathe in the second hand smoke. He stated that the rules prohibit smoking inside any of the buildings, but that it was next to impossible to see all things at all times, with so many inmates to watch after. I say that camera's positioned to cover every area of the prison, outside and inside, would eliminate this problem. Their should be a controlroom with control room officers, watching TV screens with all the camera's on at all times, and with sound!! All recording should be saved for a time, so any and all incidences could be reviewed. If someone knows why this shouldn't be done, or isn't already being done, please let me know.

HOW LUCKY ARE YOU, JUDGE ????

MAY THE GOOD LORD WHO GIVES US LIFE GUIDE YOU IN YOUR DECISIONS TO TELL WOMEN THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO CHOOSE EITHER LIFE OR ABORTION !!

My question to Judge Sotamayor would be, ; If you believe and would rule that State rights can over-ride the US Constitution in regards to the second ammendment and ban guns from being owned by individuals, I assume that individual states, in your opinion, can pick and choose what other US constitutional rights they could deprive their citizens of, is that correct?

Please stop and review this lady's history. She does not play fair. She overturned a vote with the firefighters when they had won fair and square. I don't believe she is for our American people, but rather for the illegals coming into our country. Please think about we the American people getting a fair shake at things. Thank you.

Ms. Sotomayor's extended and intimate participation in a Puerto Rican group which advocates abortion on demand, federally funded abortions, and approves of late term abortions, certainly causes serious questions about her leanings, if on the Court. I suggest she should not be affirmed if only on her ominous threat to right-to-life issues, and certainly by the time affirmative action, gun control, and inviting European law to be reflected in her Supreme Court deliberations are factored in, she should not have a seat on the Supreme Court.

Likewise, I am very disturbed by the clear restriction of presence among the witnesses for pro-life advocacy. Dr. Yoest is certainly knowledgeable and exceptionally articulate on the subject, but so are many others who represent a huge base of the U.S. population.

Who made up the list of witnesses, and what input was solicited, or will it like one of Pres. Obama's press conferences, with a hand picked list of the press to be called on and a full knowledge of what their questions will be, in advance of the conference, so the answers can be put on a teleprompter? I hope this review will be more than an Obama photo op, and more than absolute tokenism in its reporting, or will hand-picked CNN and ABC reporters be the only invited press representatives? This absolute Administration control of what is getting reported to the nation is getting tedious!
