Palin: Huntsman and Napolitano Quit, So Why Can’t I?

Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) gets — surprise! — paranoid and angry about all the criticism she’s getting for leaving her job.

The double standard that’s applied here is a bit perplexing. … Didn’t Lisa Murkowski leave office to go take her dad’s seat? (Govs.) Huntsman left, Napolitano just left …

She’s referring to three people who left the jobs they were elected to to take other, more demanding jobs. Murkowski left the Alaska House of Representatives to become a senator. Former Gov. Jon Huntsman (R-Utah) left to become his country’s ambassador to China. Former Gov. Janet Napolitano (D-Ariz.) left to become Secretary of Homeland Security. Palin, by contrast, is quitting while not saying what she’ll do next. Reporter Sean Cockerham pointed this out to her.

Palin said she is embarking on a “different, more effective path” than finishing her term. Asked how, she said she didn’t know at this point, other than to campaign for political candidates who represent the values she supports.

What do we need to do to get rid of this Embarrassing and Pathetic woman? She maybe a good, even great, wife and mother, Kudos to her. But to aspire for any political future and those supporting such a Looser, just shows how sad this whole situation has gotten. IF she decided to hibernate for the next few years, go back to HS Civic and Geography classes, qualify herself to make ONE accurate political assessment /statement, then maybe she will have a chance in politics. He being in any higher political office, lowers our Nations level of politics to those in Iran and other 3rd world places- Clueless, Self absorbed, in Denial and a International Joke! God Bless America and let us try to keep it that way.

SHE WAS ELECTED GOVENOR, THEN SHORTLY INTO HER TERM SHE WAS RUNNING FOR VP WHICH TOOK HER OUT OF OFFICE FOR OVER A YEAR. NOW SHE HAS QUIT AFTER REALLY NEVER BEING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. SO WHO REALLY CARES? NO ONE SHOULD CARE. WHAT THEY SHOULD CARE ABOUT IS HOW A GOVERNOR OF THE GOLDEN STATE OF CALIFORNIA HAS BEEN AT THE HEAD OF THAT STATE FOR HIS FULL TERM AND WHILE THERE HAS SEEN THE STATE COMPLETELY BANKRUPTED. PROBABLY THE BIGGEST COLLAPES OF ANY STATE EVER, AND QUITE POSSIBLY IS DRAGGING THE ENTIRE COUNTRY DOWN WITH IT.

Gov Palin, in my opinion, is not sly like a fox, but kinda running for cover, in effects “abondoning the boat” because of the incoming fire, and the kindling fires that haven't begun. I doubt very seriously that she'll go far in the party or even make a mark, because she's irratic, and too emotional. By no means is she capable of “taking the stick” as airline pilots say. If she did manage to capture the top spot in the government I'd run for cover! She became Governor in a state with a low population, and out of the mainstream. When she comes down to the “lower 48″ she'll feel the pressure that we're feeling, and I honestly believe she'll head back to Alaska, where she can look out of her door and see Russia.

Sarah Palin is va joke! If she or anyone else is thinking of a presedential bid in 2012, I have news! I don't think she could get elected dogcatcher anywhere!

Apparently, she feels she'll be much effective by NOT being the governor of Alaska. Perhaps, after all the media attention, etc. she's received, her (former) constituents agree.

She was absolutely correct to point out the hypocrisy . Janet Napolitano was elected to
by the people of Arizona to be their governor . She left that post . What is the difference ?

No matter what you think of Sarah Palin – the country is in an economic mess.

Unemployent is at an all time high . Here in ( liberal run ) California – the State is
bankrupt – but all these Sarah Palin haters can do is continue to beat her up .

These people are truly truly ill . Furthermore , I doubt if they have one constructive

solution for the sad situation we are in .

“Janet Napolitano was elected to by the people of Arizona to be their governor. She left that post . What is the difference ?”

Um, aside from the fact that Napolitano left that post to go to another, more demanding post, and said so at the time, and didn't quit to go around the country collecting speaking fees, nothing.

Palin QUIT. She didn't get promoted. Can you seriously not see the difference?

You may as well ask what is the same!

Stop pretending that Palin can do no wrong. The Governess is no longer the Governess, and she never was wearing any clothes. I take that back. For a couple months she had some spiffy new clothes, but I think the RNC audited her and made her give them back. Pity. I have a friend who kind of liked the Valentino jacket.

Irregardless isn't a word, regardless of what you may have heard.

What is “rop notch?” I have no doubt Palin will be that. Just don't know what it is.

She is an American citizen nut. She's really out there, isn't she?

Glad we agree.

Now, if you want to see a sane American citizen, look at Hawai'i's favorite son, our 44th President, Barack Hussein Obama.

Talk about your stark contrasts. Like black and white, huh?

You all sound like the kid bragging about his new bike at the car show. Nobody gives a damn. Typical democrats. What you forget, or don't want to admit, is, that Sarah is an AMERICAN CITIZEN!! Unlike that Uncle Tom in Washington, DC. Born in Kenya, not US. Did you vote for him, Thanks a lot, s—head.

We've been kicking the pitbull with lipstick ever since she mocked community organizers, martie. We were kicking her when she started telling lies about everything from accepting federal funds to trying to fire a librarian who wouldn't ban books.

We kicked her when she lied about President Obama “palling around with terrorists” but ignored her own husband's secessionist political party.

Where the hell have you been? Probably sniffing her used panties that the RNC made her give back after it audited her $150,000+ Arm Candy Caribou Barbie Accessory Kit.

So you're a birther? Typical.

How are you enjoying being mocked by everyone from Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly to Michael Steele and John Boehner?

Orly Taitz, how's she working out as your spokesperson? She got humiliated by Colbert, although it wasn't as though she walked onto the set with credibility.

Oh but you don't really mean the birther crap, do you? You're just trying vainly to find a comeback after hearing your precious purty 46 year old 5 child havin' filly get discussed by men who aren't attracted to her. President's still the President. Sucks to be you.
