I have to disagree with you Carrie B. Michele Bachmann is NOT patriotic what so ever!. She lies, she lives in her lunatic fantasy world, is anti-american by telling people to lock and load or to arm themselves. There are too many people out there who are overly impressionable and haven't got a clue about patriotism. Bachman is anti-government. That means that she does not want the government involved in any aspect of her life. I wonder what the U.S. would be like if we didn't have courts, jails, police, prisons, firefighters? I wonder what it would be like for any and everyone, mentally ill, emotionally damaged folks to have guns, bombs, chemicals of which they use on a whim? What would it be like to not have a miltary to protect us from war? What if we didn't have government regulations on disposal of garbage and toxic chemicals? I suppose this is the chaotic kind of world Bacmann wants to live in. She is completely OFF HER ROCKER and needs to be removed from the position she currently holds. Hey, she couldn't have made all the money she did off of the foster kids she had if there wasn't government!

Merf you must be completely clueless about what the Constitution says may be on the census.
Here, let me help.
Article I, Section 2:
"[Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.] The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct."
The section in brackets was changed and added in by Amendment 14. Enumeration means Counting.
The Constitution states plainly that Congress has no right to do anything other than COUNT us, and they can COUNT us in any manner they direct. (IE by plane, by personal interview, by a mailing of a form asking how many people are in the home, by telephone call, etc.) They cannot ask us our names, our ages, what our skin colors are, what time we leave for work in the morning, how many cars we own, or ANYTHING else AT ALL. That information is none of the government's business, and the government has NO powers outside of those specifically listed in, and limited by, the Constitution.

Michelle Bachmann IS patriotic.
The people who answer all of these privacy-invading, non-Constitutional additional questions (that is, anything past "how many people live here in this residence") are the ones who are NOT patriotic. They are the ones who are throwing our Constitution out of the window and allowing government to assume more and more power over We the People.

That’s awesome news! One less Bachmann supporter counted in the rigth census. With any luck her district will be reduced to a small blip and fully eliminated!

Michele Bachman is completely off her rocker. What is so scary here is that she was a foster parent to 23 children who I am sure are totally damaged by the lunacy she projects and believes. She is NOT patriotic in any way and her own party is calling for her to back off.. I wonder how much TAX-FREE money she made off of 23 foster children? How many of thes children are fully functioning adults?
