this policy is just stupid to me. ive served my “land of the free” country for 3 yrs and still counting, served two combat tours in iraq, why must i hide the real me. i dont understand what people are so afraid of. truth be told the mojority of the military is gay! so discharged all the gays in the military, then seen see how fast americas security weakens…

In other words, if somebody is outed by a third party, we have to — does that force us to take an action? And I don’t know the answer to that and I don’t want to pretend to.

I may be wrong, but that scenario sure sounds a lot like Pursuing, as in DADTDP Don't Ask, Don't Tell, DON'T PURSUE. It's already forbidden by the law. Not that that has stopped anyone, of course.
