This is going to be tough to dig out from under:

South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford is admitting more encounters with his Argentine mistress than he previously has disclosed.

In a lengthy, emotional interview with The Associated Press, the governor described seven meetings with the woman, including their first in 2001. Sanford says there have been five over a 12-month period, including two multi-night stays with her in New York.

You get one chance to reveal everything, and Sanford missed it.

MJ and Billy Mays…No one is paying attention. Whether Sanford is cooked or not, time will tell.

The more the media focuses on this, the less they'll ask questions about the legality and ethics of his disappearance. At least that's the general sense I got from watching the Sunday shows. All the Republican/conservative guests kept referring to his marriage rather than his job.

Is there anyone more reviled that this hypocrite? After going after Clinton tooth and nail he pulls this crap. Mr. Family values, Mr. Moral Majority is, after all is said and done, just a cheap philandering land hawker.
