A perfect example of how this is all about a inflated sense of one's place in the world and mere self-congratulation. I wonder Of course a bunch of politicians would be grandstanding over a house resolution.

"With his strong words, he ended the Cold War". I wonder how long Rohrabacher would mock Obama "worshippers" if *they* made such a ridiculous statement.

When it comes to b.s. that has no cost to themselves and a chance to puff themselves up the War Hawks and Democrats politicians can find themselves in a self-righteous embrace.

So why isn't the House debating similar resolutions concerning Burma? What about the human rights there? Or is the Junta kinder and gentler than I was lead to believe? The Republicans are just dying to get their hands stained with the blood of the Iranian dissenters. I wish they would forget about God and Israel for a little bit and just calm the ***k down. If they go to far and destabilize the situation, seeing an “in” to take Ahmadinejad out, a lot of people will die.
