The American Cause, the Pat and Bay Buchanan-run coalition that employs Marcus Epstein, is holding a national conference in Virginia this weekend on the theme of “Building a New Majority.” The highlight, looking at a draft of the schedule, might be this afternoon panel:
Winning Working America: How to regain the Hillary Democrats
– Peter Brimelow, Editor, VDARE.com
– Ward Connerly, President, American Civil Rights Institute
– Lou Barletta, Mayor of Hazleton, Pennsylvania
So, that’s the editor of an anti-immigration Website, a man who travels the country organizating anti-affirmative initiatives, and a Pennsylvania mayor who lost his 2002 and 2008 runs for Congress in the northeastern Pennsylvania counties that went for Hillary Rodham Clinton in the presidential primary. This seems to read much more into Clinton’s infamous comment that she was winning “working, hard-working Americans, white Americans” than she meant.

You are suggesting that Hillary was allied with Pat Buchanan? Sorry, need more to go on than one paranoid Clinton hating opinion to go on.
More likely Buchanan and his far right cronies are simply trying to find some way to capture what they consider “swing democrats”. For without a swing of some sort towards the right,
democrats should recapture the White House yet again in 2012. Baring a Dick Cheney Wish Fulfilment Middle East Armagedon attack on American Soil Scenario from coming true.
