Claiming 45 million Americans are without health coverage is a LIE! Can I say that again? It's a LIE. I'm not saying Mr. Lillis is lying, I'm saying that he's perpetuating a LIE!

I am for radical change, myself. America needs major change–not just in health care. But, just speaking of health care, I am for single-payer. I think a lot of intelligent people (much smarter than I) are for single-payer, but “wimpy” to admit it.

AMERICA’S NATIONAL HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY!

It’s official. America and the World are now in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. A World EPIDEMIC with potential catastrophic consequences for ALL of the American people. The first PANDEMIC in 41 years. And WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES will have to face this PANDEMIC with the 37th worst quality of healthcare in the developed World.

STAND READY AMERICA TO SEIZE CONTROL OF YOUR NATIONAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEM.

We spend over twice as much of our GDP on healthcare as any other country in the World. And Individual American spend about ten times as much out of pocket on healthcare as any other people in the World. All because of GREED! And the PRIVATE FOR PROFIT healthcare system in America.

And while all this is going on, some members of congress seem mostly concern about how to protect the corporate PROFITS! of our GREED DRIVEN, PRIVATE FOR PROFIT NATIONAL DISGRACE. A PRIVATE FOR PROFIT DISGRACE that is in fact, totally valueless to the public health. And a detriment to national security, public safety, and the public health.

Progressive democrats and others should stand firm in their demand for a robust public option for all Americans, with all of the minimum requirements progressive democrats demanded. If congress can not pass a robust public option with at least 51 votes and all robust minimum requirements, congress should immediately move to scrap healthcare reform and demand that President Obama declare a state of NATIONAL HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY! Seizing and replacing all PRIVATE FOR PROFIT health insurance plans with the immediate implementation of National Healthcare for all Americans under the provisions of HR676 (A Single-payer National Healthcare Plan For All).

Coverage can begin immediately through our current medicare system. With immediate expansion through recruitment of displaced workers from the canceled private sector insurance industry. Funding can also begin immediately by substitution of payroll deductions for private insurance plans with payroll deductions for the national healthcare plan. This is what the vast majority of the American people want. And this is what all objective experts unanimously agree would be the best, and most cost effective for the American people and our economy.

In Mexico on average people who received medical care for A-H1N1 (Swine Flu) with in 3 days survived. People who did not receive medical care until 7 days or more died. This has been the same results in the US. But 50 million Americans don’t even have any healthcare coverage. And at least 200 million of you with insurance could not get in to see your private insurance plans doctors in 2 or 3 days, even if your life depended on it. WHICH IT DOES!

Contact congress and your representatives NOW! AND SPREAD THE WORD!

Single-Payer healthcare is un-american? It is way too late to play the un-american card Mr President. You have nationalized two auto manufacturers, you have continued the George W Bush nationalization of our banking system and will no doubt take it to a new level. And now President Obama says single-payer is “un-american”? That's hysterical.

Obama and Congress are blowing the opportunity for genuine health care reform, by deceiving the American people by stating time and time again that Single Payer is not viable at this time, or that it is not the American way. What malarky! Obama and the administration keep raising the issue of the high cost of health care “reform” without bothering to address the bureacratic fraud, waste, and inefficiency of teh entrenched medical industrial complex. By leaving the insurance/HMOs in charge, there can be no cost reduction or true “universal” health care for all Americans. The whole incentive of the private for profit insurance industry is to make money by keeping high-risk people out of the insured pool, and by keeping reimbursements and coverage for premium payers as low as possible. By putting a “public option” plan in competition with private insurance will not address this issue. Either the public option will become like the provate options, slashing benefits and denying coverage, or it will become a dumping ground for all the high-risk, high-cost, chronically ill people that the insurance industry doesn't want. Forced insurance and regressive mandates are not health care reform. All the proposals that are on the table are doomed to fail. The real solution to the health care crisis lies in implementing a SIngle Payer- Medicare for All. Yet this healthy option has been marginalized and banned from serious discouse and open debate. In fact, the media and medical industry lobbies along with Obama's cooperation in that he and Congress with a couple of exceptions- have been spreading disinformation about Single Payer with the usual scare tactics of “wait times”, “rationing”, “taxes”, “governement control” etc. None of these stand up to scrutiny. Call and write your local media, representatives and let them know you want real health care reform, not more insurance schemes and regressive mandates. SIngle Payer- Medicare For All.

The only question is this:

Will Obama and the Congress end up compromising the interests of 110 plus needy Americans to accommodate Big money, Big Insurance and as usual the Republican minority?

Obama's single payer plan of the campaign is what we need. We don't need a compromise to help rich folks stay rich and profitable. Obama is caving in. His comment about single payer being unAmerican is a fig leaf for saying he is afraid the political price is too high.

If being unAmerican is the criteria watch out as social security and medicare/medicade are unAmerican.

Why wasn't bailing out the financial community with a trillion dollars without rules on how to spend it unAmerican?

Why wasn't bailing out the banks with billions of dollars and no rules stopping big bonuses to rich executives unAmerican?

Why wasn't bailing out big corporations unAmerican?

Now when its the taxpayers who paid for all the bailouts turn to get some help, its suddenly unAmerican, give me a break.

Trust is like an icecube. Once it melts its pretty hard to get it back...

President Obama your ability to create good sounding words is going to trip you up soon. If people stop trusting your words and you can't stand up to big money, big insurance and the Republicans you will be very very sorry. You will have squandered the chance of a generation to be a Great Leader President.

Please sir, remember the man and the ideas we voted for...
