Small Group of Angry People Waves Signs, Film at 11

Lou Hillman reports on the “hundreds” of people who protested President Obama’s trip to Wisconsin with signs like “NO UNIVERSAL WELFARE” and “NOT ONLY NO BUT HELL NO.” On the righty blogs, the number has been inflated to 1,000 people, and Gateway Pundit’s comment is amusing:

Gee, that’s odd? This didn’t make many headlines yesterday.

This in a post with text taken from … a credulous local news report on the protesters. The 180-degree flip in views of protesters has been a predictable change of the Obama era. Dial back nine, twelve months into conservative blogs — better yet, dial back to the Iraq War — and you find mockery of anti-Bush protesters coupled with anger that the media’s bothering to cover them.
