Ms. Kane, if you weren't such a nagging do-gooder who thinks with her emotions instead of reason and logic, you would realize that the financial crisis (as well as the housing crisis) was caused by government interference into the private sector, and no government regulator or official saw it coming. No “systemic regulator” for “systemic risk” (there is no such thing, unless you are talking about government, the only force able to intervene throughout the system) is able to prevent crises. You have offered no evidence that such an entity would be able to prevent crises, because there is no such evidence, and you are not concerned with the facts anyway. This is really all about your hate. You hate banks, capitalists, and anyone and anything that is a great wealth creator, and you desire to smash them. You don't care what's good for the country. This is really all about your desire to indulge in destruction of the people you envy.
