Apparently, Epstein's "speech impediment" is Tourette's Syndrome, which is why he runs around calling African Americans "nigger." The poor soul can't control himself.

Apparently, I’ve never referred to MLK—or anyone else, for that matter—as a "silver-tounged serpent," [sic] or as a "silver-tongued serpent." At least, that’s what Google says. (With about 1.5 million words in print, I couldn’t recall, for certain.) But I like the phrase, and just may use it, in the future (without your misspelling, of course).

However, the important point for the moment is that you piped a quote, in order to misrepresent me. And then you misrepresented me yet again—and David Weigel, in the bargain—projecting onto me your own diversion technique!

Dear Mr. Weigel,

You attacked Pat Buchanan for employing someone with “a years-long record of white nationalist writing and associations,” but the “evidence” you offered to back up your charge is a link to an article Epstein wrote, defending Buchanan. So, you're damning Buchanan for employing someone who defended him? Were you trying to be cute, and make a joke? Do you have a circularity problem? Didn't you think anyone would hit the link? Or did you figure your comrades here would variously be logically and/or morally challenged, and cut you some slack, out of loyalty?

BTW, if your claims about Epstein are true, how could anyone employ you, given your long record of “white nationalist associations”?

If Buchanan and Tancredo were better people, they would simply apologize for hiring Epstein in the first place. I'd expect “leaders” such as this in some third-world country, not the United States.
