I think you confused “irony” with iron, as in the sensibility of people who perpetually claim to see irony, when all they see is political opportunity. Take your best shots, Omar, give the enemy the business, but don't try to dignify working him over with fancy words you don't understand.

I will... it's coming from a Buchanan.

On "Hardball" last week Pat Buchanan was unable to say whether or not he supported the Civil Rights movement.

Marcus Epstein is a racist who got a job promoting white supremacists... that's not what a fair and balanced person would call rehabilitation.

I'll bet if some young black man assaulted Bay Buchanan while shouting racial epithets, he would have gotten a hell of a lot tougher sentence than two years probation.

And I'll bet she wouldn't be talking about how proud she was of how he'd turned his life around. She'd be shrieking that he should be put away for life.
