Tom Tancredo Staffer Pleads Guilty to Karate-Chopping Black Woman
Monday, June 01, 2009 at 10:49 am
For years, conservative writer and activist Marcus Epstein has worked with the mainstream of the immigration restrictionist movement. He wrote speeches for former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) during his presidential bid, and he’s still working as the executive director of Tancredo’s Team America PAC, alongside Bay Buchanan. Epstein has been targeted for years by civil rights groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center and the One People’s Project, who have obtained Epstein’s guilty plea to a hate crime he committed two years ago.
From the U.S. Attorney’s factual proffer:
On July 7, 2007, at approximately 7:15 p.m. at Jefferson and M Street, Northwest, in Washington, D.C., defendant was walking down the street making offensive remarks when he encountered the complainant, Ms. [REDACTED], who is African-American. The defendant uttered, “Nigger,” as he delivered a karate chop to Ms. [REDACTED]‘s head.
Epstein has pled guilty and will be sentenced on July 8, although he changed his plea to water down an admission of guilt into the belief that “the government could prove me guilty.” A spokesman for Team America PAC confirmed that Epstein is still at work until he leaves for law school in the fall, and an official statement is forthcoming.
Tancredo has taken a large public role in criticizing Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, telling MSNBC that the judge “appears to be a racist.”

How, in God's name, could Epstein still be going to law school after pleading guilty to this crime. He must be going to Liberty University's Law School, where all you have to be is a bible-pushing “true believer.”

He's entering the University of Virginia law school. You may want to send the adminsitration an email and ask them why they are admitting a convicted racist to the school:

A “convicted racist”? What's that? I think Epstein was charged with assault, not racism.

Ha, good luck getting on the bar after being charged with a hate crime. And don't worry Mr. Epstein, I'm sure the law school you'll attend will be all white anyways.

Going to Law School doesn't mean he will pass, or even taken, the bar exam. I doubt he would be admitted to the bar either way. Racially-motivated assault doesn't really reflect well on organizations, for some weird reason.

This guy played in my reggae/ska band when I was in college. He was a snotty, privelaged little kid that played the melodica and acted like he was better than everyone else. He quit because our lyrics were too “left wing”. He's pretty nuts, and it scares me that he grew up and plays a role in government (even if it's for a marginalized wacko).

I emailed a good portion of people from the U. of Virginia School of Law link below, and got a reply from Jason Wu Trujillo, Senior Assistant Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid <LawAdmit@virginia.edu> stating “Marcus Epstein is not an enrolled student at the University of Virginia School of Law, nor do we expect him anytime in the future.”
Epstein's Facebook profile says “UVA Grad '12″, however does not specify the law school.

“Epstein is usually a Jewish name”
Epstein has Jewish and Korean ancestry.
His concern is that the number of Hispanics residing within the United States is expected to grow from 35 million in 2000 to 132 million in 2050. This demographic change, is engineered by American elites with little input from the general public.
This is going to lead to problems if you look at education and the economy becoming more complex. Mexican-Americans make up only 1.6 percent of all those taking the LSAT, even though they make up 10.2 percent of all residents of America between 20 and 24.

I attended the College of William and Mary with this guy. He is among the five most socially inept and emotionally disturbed people I have ever met. He has no business in the political arena or as a law student. Regarding Sotomayor: the best evidence of her judicial temperament and best indicator of her future performance as a Justice is her opinions from the 2nd circuit, I doubt Marcus Epstein or Tom Tancredo have the capacity or patience to review the opinions and draw conclusions from the most relevant available information. They don't care. All they want to do is inject discussion of race into the conversation as a way of stirring the pot.

Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it

Excellent website you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics talked about here? I’d really like to be a part of group where I can get advice from other knowledgeable people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks a lot!

Hi there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Howdy! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Thank you!

Have you ever considered publishing an e-book or guest authoring on other blogs? I have a blog centered on the same topics you discuss and would really like to have you share some stories/information. I know my subscribers would appreciate your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to send me an email.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% sure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Hello would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good internet hosting provider at a honest price? Kudos, I appreciate it!

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Exceptional work!
