We must not forget Abu Ibrahim, Mohammed Rashed, Abu Nidal, Abu Abbas, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, etc. etc. Regardless of how sketchy the al Qaeda links were (an issue I still don't considered settled) there were numerous terrorists who had American blood on their hands. I have tried pretty hard to document the multiple sides of this story and the Saddam, terrorism story is much much more complicated than a simple "was" or "wasn't" at www.regimeofterror.com.

Whether or not that was cause for an invasion is an entirely different ball of wax.

Sir,
no doubt Saddam Hussein had contacts with Al-Qaeda and many more islamic groups.Al-Qaeda was the creation of Zbigniew Brzezinski,who is now playing a pivotal role in the Obama administration.
The present wars in Afghanistan,Sudan,Somalia,Iraq,Sri lanka and proposed wars in Iran that Brzezinski stopped reflect the direction of were Brzezinski goals now lay.Al-Qaeda will play the same role it played before with US support.The destruction of Pakistan into smaller countries.
