They lied to Congress during Iran/Contra. They lie all the time. It's pretty pathetic, all this CYA self-righteousness by the Republicans on this issue. The Party of Torture is running scared.<br><br>And it should be no surprise that Bush appointed a director who couldn't organize well enough to get proper meeting notes. After all, under Bush the CIA let 911 happen and lied about their evidence wrt Iraq. The CIA lies for a living. They lied to Congress during Iran/Contra. They lie all the time. It's pretty pathetic, all this CYA self-righteousness by the Republicans on this issue. The Party of Torture is running scared.

And it should be no surprise that Bush appointed a director who couldn't organize well enough to get proper meeting notes. After all, under Bush the CIA let 911 happen and lied about their evidence wrt Iraq.
