If your not a fan of the second amendment that's fine, don't own arms.
However, you cannot dismiss the validity of the stand Dr. Coburn has made.

Pass the credit card bill with the conceled carry proposal added, the bill is too important. Honestly no one cares whether you take your paperweight into a national park or not, they just don't want you to be able to feed it. The second ammendment will go down in flames as ammo becomes permanently unavailable by extreme over-regulation and taxes. The political upperclass will be able to afford the ammo, but not the majority of Americans.

Also — before it was legal to bring guns into National Parks, do you suppose the law deterred any criminals from doing so? Remember: they are criminals.

imaginary scenario:
“lets jump him while hes walking around yellowstone, and shoot his ***. Sounds good! oh, but wait…. Remember, you can't have guns in National Parks!”

now its more like:
“now that its legal to carry guns in National Parks, we can finally kill that SOB! oh wait… now that its legal, do you suppose anybody else there might have a gun? better not find out!”

I found this article to be very opinionated. “So much for an easy, clean, must-pass credit card…” You can just taste the disgust in the authors words.

Anyway, the amendment had to pass the voting process (meaning a majority of the voting members agreed with it. Besides, even if that was not the case, you have to make compromises sometimes. Keep this legislation in mind the next time someone is gunned down at a national park. Maybe we'll see a post then in 5…. 10…. 20 years.

Just more proof that many people do not even read what they are voting on. How can anyone even sleep at night without a gun with idiots like this running the country. The anti gun state of California will seek an exemption or find a way around this.
