Crist’s Our Man!

Josh Kraushaar reports that the National Republican Senatorial Committee will go back on its word from last week and endorse Gov. Charlie Crist (R-Fla.) when he announces his bid for the U.S. Senate. It’s one of several Senate races where the party has drafted or is trying to draft a moderate Republican to shove aside a more conservative challenger who’s already in the race — the other races are in Pennsylvania and California, with former Club for Growth President Pat Toomey and State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, respectively, challenging from the right.
One interpretation of this is that the NRSC is endorsing a politician who supported the economic stimulus package — and appeared in Florida with President Obama to support it — to replace one who opposed it, Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.).

I have received many emails from Mel Martinez. I think he is a good choice because of his conservative values, and latino heritage. I also like Chuck Devore in California. He is a very hard-working conservative. Do we want more Arlen Spectors and Olympia Snows? They don't listen to their constituents. They are not humble servants of the people. I am sick of nominating someone who decides to drop their platform when they get in office.

Chuck DeVore in California please. You just don't know how badly we need some conservative values, or any values for that matter, in California
