According to E!, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) called Miss California Carrie Prejean to buck her up after her gay marriage-driven loss in the Miss USA pageant.
So says Prejean’s father, at least, who tells E! News in an exclusive interview that the Alaska governor has already been in touch with his lightning-rod spawn.
“She called her directly to offer support,” says the 58-year-old William Prejean.
While he did not reveal exactly which words of wisdom Palin offered to his suddenly—and literally—overexposed daughter, he did clarify that the phone call came prior to the beauty queen’s racy photos appearing on TheDirty.com.
If true, it continues Palin’s pattern of dodging typical political rites of passage (like the White House Correspondents Dinner) while biting into culture war issues, such as the now pretty-well-forgotten Special Olympics comment that the president made on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I'm not sure what was hopefully gained by stating an endorsement from Sarah Palin. To my way of seeing, it appears that a vacuous beauty queen to who believes we should use the Bible as an excuse to deny civil rights to many has been given the thumbs-up by a vacuous beauty queen to who believes we should use the Bible as an excuse to deny civil rights to many.

David Weasel is just ANOTHER piranha feeding off the Palin image/name and now leeching onto Prejean. If his “article” didn’t have at least one of those names, he/she would not get any face-time with the public….you BETCHA!

Foolish us. When we first saw still life images of Gucci’s genius new kidswear and babywear ranges last month, it never occurred to us that, of course, these clothes would need their own advertising campaign and naturellement that meant that somewhere there were teeny tiny models being cast as the chubby faces of Gucci online outlet store kidswear.

The republican base is determined to follow the wealthy at the expense of their own families. The republican base are losing their jobs and watching them being sent overseas and they continue to vote for the very same people that made it possible.
