Unlike most working parents Michelle doesn’t have to worry about the quality of the private school her children attend. She has a choice that most of us are denied by the Democrats and the Teachers’ Union. Between Arugela and Wagu beef, and obnoxious airplane jaunts on AirForce one that terrorize a city – where does it end?

This is sort of crazy: It doesn’t take some deep reading of the text to see that the First Lady was making light of all the advantages of White House life. If there’s a larger lesson here, it’s that the flowering of conservative media outlets are leading to the creation of so many “gaffes” and “scandals” that none of them are really sticking. Michelle Obama’s approval rating is above 70 percent.
