Former Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) is testifying right now before the House Energy and Environment Subcommittee on the Waxman-Markey climate bill. As a respected Republican who has been at the forefront of the global warming debate, he has the ear of everyone in the room.
Everyone, that is, except Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas). Barton, the ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, is conspicuously reading a newspaper.

The question remains: what newspaper was he reading? The Examiner? the Post? THE WASHINGTON TIMES??

We need to know more if there are more of Joe Barton kind in the congress. Sooner the better.
As a regular guy on the block I believe I've more brain than this congressman Joe Barton. How the hell he got to where he's at now?
