Its a 'sorry display' because you have no respect or understanding of basic Catholic teaching .

People have a right to their convictions and the right to protest . How very arrogant you are
to tell them otherwise just because you disagree and/or fail to understand completely

President Obama is not coming to Notre Dame to debate the abortion issue. . That would
be an entirely different matter and would be productive and enlightning .
And as far as 'exaggeration'
goes - do you approve of a University that puts an 83 year old priest in handcuffs for
peacebly singing and demonstrating on campus . A priest, a follower of Christ .
Please tell me - where is the respect for debate there ?
He is coming to
Notre Dame to be 'honored' for his stances and his views . And that 'honor'
confers approval .

If you don't understand that the laws of God are above the laws of man - then you don't truly understand
the Bible or the words of Jesus. We already have almost unlimited abortion in this country .
Do we then honor a President who believes in same and even the horror of partial birth abortion ?
And by the way, where does it say in the Constitution
that people have a right to deny life to someone who is in the womb? I have yet to
find that passage .

The President and his supporters have played Notre Dame for fools . Divide and conquer .

I've read the constitution; nowhere does it say we must adhere to Catholic Doctrine. As president, Obama must uphold the law. Go back to Constitutional Law l0l. You scandal-monmgers are disgusting. As a cradle catholic of 82 years, I am ashamed of Notre Dame for the first time inmy life. Why don't you people (the protesters) just grow up? Or get a life?

This Notre Dame “scandal “,has been ginned up by political operatives who are telling the gullible that somehow the Republican party has been endorsed by the Catholic Church, and now this evil Democrat must be publically slapped in the face for being president. Randall Terry , Alan Keyes
and the rest of the circus now onstage at Notre Dame, have dictated their agenda to our Bishops, and have given “marching orders”(their term) to
the rest of the local Catholic leaders. The anti-abortion wing-nuts have predicted a dark terrible storm over the Notre Dame campus, but at the same
time they do seem to love to sing in the rain at these events.
