Hey, Baby, It’s the Fourth of July

Newt Gingrich’s latest column is mostly an advertisement for his American Solutions Website, but this part threw me.

We should make July 4, 2009 “American Freedom Day.”  Tea Party activists across America should plan to go out and recruit supporters from every Fourth of July celebration in their community … As Tea Party leaders around the country email, chat, and call each other, they should learn the lessons from this past week and begin laying plans to make July 4, 2009 a day that goes down as a decisive turning point in the history of defending freedom.

Isn’t July 4 already a holiday? What exactly does Gingrich think will happen between now and July 4? You don’t think …

4th of July?? Only way those clowns have a chance at attracting a crowd. They were embarrassed at the turn outs on the 15th even after the FOX and Talk Radio hype. The tea Party's Over…
