Will Harman Still Speak at AIPAC Summit Next Month?

Guess who’s scheduled to speak at the opening session of next month’s America Israel Public Affairs Committee gala in Washington? Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.), who CQ reported was caught on an National Security Agency wiretap telling a “suspected Israeli agent” that she’d intervene with the Justice Department on behalf of AIPAC lobbyists suspected of passing national security information to Israel. She’s currently on the itinerary for the Sunday, May 3 session to “explore the myriad foreign policy challenges facing the United States, Israel and the world.”

Harman denies all wrongdoing. But will she still speak at the conference? I have a call out to her office and will report back when I know the answer.
