I’ve spent the last 24 hours desperately compiling a forward-looking piece on efforts within the naval community to make the Navy a more effective anti-pirate force. I filed about an hour ago and my diligent editor, Laura McGann, has been tweaking ever since. And suddenly I discover, thanks to Rob Farley, that I overlooked perhaps the most important component to any conscientious anti-pirate strategy:
Thousands of dolphins blocked the suspected Somali pirate ships when they were trying to attack Chinese merchant ships passing the Gulf of Aden, the China Radio International reported on Monday.
Namor the Sub-Mariner did not return a request for comment.

Flipper and his dolphin comrades are obviously siding with the Reds. This isn't going to help in achieving US dominion over the 7 seas. Perhaps it is time to rethink the hasty move to dolphin-safe tuna. Coming after the suicide attack on our airliner in New York by the Canadian geese, these inhuman animals, enemies of freedom, apparently see a weakness in the recently elected American executive branch. Haven't we learned anything since 10-8-1871 and Mrs. O'Leary's treacherous cow? I don't understand why these animals aren't taught a lesson. Probably because Barry Hussein is some sort of vegetarian, like Hitler.
