I don't understand the purpose of this advertising approach. Why isn't he using the funds raised for this venture to pay down the state debt of South Carolina? In fact, why does the state even have any debt? What could possibly be worth borrowing for?

Gov. Sanford is a virtual nitwit. For someone who has ran South Carolina aground in just two terms his audacity roils. It is in SC that I encountered as many potholes in state and city roads as I saw on the roads of Edo State (Nigeria). He talks of debt as if he's not the one who accumulated the one that SC is currently laboring under. This man is completely nuts. Imagine the illogic of his argument: the country is down and reeling from massive unemployment resulting from a collapse in demand; so, what to do: and there comes Dr. Jackass Sanford with the magic solution: liquidate all debts …liquidate all taxes…liquidate all government spending….liquidate education….roads….! This man is completely out of his mind. I suggest that he be put away in some island institution as he is a clear and present danger not only to himself and his family, but to all who may potentially be exposed to his toxic self.

Here's the problem with Sanford. He'll take the money, just not for education. He asked the White House if he could use the 700 million allotted for education to pay down the state's debt. If he takes any or part, he's adding to the national debt, so how does he say he's against it.

He is fruit-loopy. What is it going to be ” to debt or not to debt”. He'll take the money to pay the state debt, but doesn't think it's good to send the country into more debt by taking money for education, altough by taking the money, for anything, he's adding to the federal debt. “You go into debt to pay my debt.” he says. What a walking-talking contradiction.It is clear his family owned slaved. Just like a slave owner, let's not educate. We'll keep it like it was before they free. And trust me, the educational system in South Carolina would pass Forest Gump off as a genius. The GOP is resting all it's hopes on Yogi Bear's(Palin) or Bullwinkle (Stanford). What a sad state of affairs. Also in '06, when I lived there, he got in trouble for a racial slur. He's not going to fly in 12, 16 or ever. Palin will have the same problem.
