Well here's the memo. We're done with all that. That's really what the tea parties represent: The beginning of the end of what little communication now exists between the right and the left. We are wising up. Bipartisanship is a fraud. The left, when in power, will never give an inch or treat any of our concerns as anything more than spin against which they must defend themselves. From our point of view, it's like being in one of those movies where the protagonist is muzzled by being falsely accused, and can't get anybody to listen to his/her warnings of some great impending harm until it actually happens. But it's not about spin. It's about what it means to be human, to live, to love, to prosper, to be happy. I would have hoped we could have a civil conversation about things that really matter.

But no. ACORN et al want to portray us as an insignificant minority driven by partisanship, greed, and even racism. Are we paranoid? Or do we have real enemies? The evidence of disruptions is already coming in (from Free Republic):

• “VA local radio station that is supporting the Richmond Tea Party is reporting that people have been receiving robo-calls giving an incorrect time (noon) for the Richmond event…”

• At a restaurant called Chiefs Wings and Firewater in Greenville South Carolina, ACORN “representatives” tried to convince management to cancel their tea-party event, and when that failed, they vandalized the restroom, including destruction of flyers for the event and smearing human excrement on the walls. I personally called this place and verified the event really happened. The number is 864-288-4177. The odd thing the woman told me is the vandalism was done in the ladies room. What's up with that?

• From Michelle Malkin: “It’s already happened once before — at the Denver anti-porkulus rally last month, when the Media Matters/Daily Kos crowd shifted media attention away from the policy message by manufacturing fake outrage about some stunt-puller who showed up with a sign comparing Obama to Hitler that I didn’t see and asked for a picture. The local newspaper, the Rocky Mountain News, took the bait.” Like my dad always said, if you want to know what a person is going to do, look at what they've already done.

BTW, I am not with the GOP, as they no longer represent genuine conservative interests. Get the party stereotype out of your head. It's hurting both of us.

As for someone's earlier comment questioning the use of anonymity in such movements, it was a routine (and essential) practice for the American revolutionaries of 1776, and as long as the content is good, why does it matter whose name is attached to it?

Tea Party? Game On.

They'll use your names and tell Obama they're in support of him! Or against him! I don't know which! But something! Something really bad! AAAAAAAGH!!!!!!

Think of it: If what I'm saying is true, this is a brilliant piece of double-duty text: It 1) heightens a disabling sense of paranoia in already a bit far-gone rightwing ideologues, and 2) serves as a target for derision and marginalization (well-nigh to dehumanization) by leftwing types.

NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING! IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS WHO PLAN TO ATTEND, WHO DO NOT HAVE EMAIL, RIDE ON YOUR HORSE TO WARN THEM. TRY TO LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG.
