Roll Call’s Shira Toeplitz reports that former Rep. Chris Chocola (R-Ind.), who went down in the 2006 midterms to Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.), is the frontrunner to replace Pat Toomey at the Club for Growth. No one will confirm it on the record for the paper, continuing the charade that Toomey is undecided about challenging Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) in the 2010 primary.
