Alan Keyes to Speak at Washington, D.C. Tea Party

J.P. Freire, The American Spectator managing editor and an organizer of Washington, D.C.’s anti-spending April 15 “Tea Party,” announced this morning that perennial presidential candidate Alan Keyes would speak at the event. A chorus of groans sounded at the meeting where this was announced.

Keyes has been a controversial figure for years, before and after his disastrous 2004 Senate bid against Barack Obama. In the last few months, he’s returned as a plaintiff in lawsuits alleging that Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States.

The GOP is comedy gold. Laff-a-minute, blow-soda-out-your-nose comedy gold.

Thank you, conservative wackos, for making my day.

Fee-Fee Fi-Fi Fo-Fo Fum
I smell smoke in the auditorium

Alan Keyes, Alan Keyes
He's a wheeze, that Alan Keyes
He's gonna get caught
Just you wait and see
Why's everybody always pickin' on me

That's him on his knees
I know that's him
Yellin' seven come eleven
Down in the boy-oys gym

That's Alan Keyes, Alan Keyes
He's a wheeze, that Alan Keyes
He's gonna get caught
Just you wait and see
Why's everybody always pickin' on me

Who's always writin' on the wall
Who's always goofin' in the hall
Who's always throwin' spit balls
Guess who? (Who me?) Yeah you

He walks in the courtroom with a slur
Who called the prezident, usurper

Alan Keyes, Alan Keyes
He's a wheeze, that Alan Keyes
He's gonna get caught
Just you wait and see
Why's everybody always pickin' on me

He walks in the courtroom with a slur
Who called the prezident, usurper

Alan Keyes, Alan Keyes
He's a wheeze, that Alan Keyes
He's gonna get caught
Just you wait and see
Why's everybody always picking on me

What does it really feel like to be a shell with no brain (Liberals)…golly must be a pretty much empty feeling….Hating the country you live in…Hate family values….Hate religious beliefs…Hate freedom…..Love having the government run your puny lives….Love destruction of the fabric of this once great nation……Teabag..you guys do not get it…you really don't….I would be a little concerned about that if I were a Liberal….(gag…gag)

I hope Christian is your name, because if that's your religion, and you're a liberal, you might want to spare our already strained genetic pool from having to deal with the catastrophic levels of stupidity that your reproduction would bring.

Speaking of “comedy gold,” the conservative wackos are trying to save the freedoms you have.

Thank you for raising the bar at how embarrassing it is to share the title of “citizen” with liberals. What a joke.

Wow, Dale. Look at you. You're the role-model for America as a hypothesis… just a geographical set of social constraints.

In reality, America is its people. And in a constitutional democracy, citizens have the freedom to sweep away unwanted constraints. Its citizens have that power. We even have the power to demand that laws be tested; challenging whether they crumble under the power of our constitution.

I love democracy. I love my freedom to have different religious beliefs and different family values from yours. Hell, I'll even fight for your right to attend a peaceful “Tea Party” protest.

With these actions, and with my life, I am proof the opinion in your note is incorrect. The opinion that liberals hate America is unsubstantiated generalization.

I invite you to see America in a new way. America is its citizens – united under a declaration that we do not follow the “Divine Right of Kings”.

What a horrible choice. I thought the whole idea behind the tea party was to start something new and different. I thought the idea was that it doesn't matter if you are a Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, we could all finally agree that the country is in real danger and that BHO and the Congress are headed in the wrong direction. And the best they can come up with is Alan Keyes? He's never garnered more than 1% of the vote among REPUBLICANS!!! The ass clown that made this choice is a buffon. There is nothing new about Alan Keyes. He's the same old clanging gong he's always been. Too bad. May as well just stay home now.

If you people have problems with Alan Keyes as a speaker, if you are going to quibble over a great conservative speaker at your event, you are going NOWHERE!

Alan Keyes, leader of the failed Pro-life movement, now wants to lead the Tea Party movement to the same place. I'm tired of kooks and religious crazies, it has cost us the woman's vote and the votes of urban independents. The GOP needs a new “base”. We got way off on the idiot tangents that Alan Keyes represents, it is time to get back to GOP roots: fiscal conservatism and low taxes. I am tired of the sexually – obsessed freaks so well represented by Keyes, I could care less if a woman wants an abortion or a man wants to cohabitate with a man, I want low taxes, less government and fiscal sanity.

Alan Keyes efforts are another fine example of a lost Republican Party. They are business as usual and throwing anything to see what sticks to the wall.
I am a Christian who has voted Democrat because I believe Christ would follow the majority of the Democratic Platform and work together on the issues that conflict with his word.
Keyes hopelessly misdirected attempts are truly geared to discredit Obama but only raise a slight murmor of a response within his own little cheer leading squad.
The overall attempts from Republicans to unite their party are becomming comical little conspiracies flailing in the winds of change. However ,they reveal their desparate lack of direction by the continued “Throw it out there and see what sticks” strategy.
Todays Washington Journal on CSPAN asked should we talk to people who have critisized America ?
Thats the Republican backlash for Obama taking a book from Chavez , communicating with Cuba and Muslims.
The fact that this single celled thinking recieved air time on CSPAN shows that we have a long way to go with mainstream media and America. While the majority of those responding to the question were pro foriegn relation repair, there were a few maintaining the Bush Cowboy Attitude.
For the first time in my 50 years I have great hope and certainty that America is on the right course and will become the nation of opportunity , compassion and Leadership to the rest of the world.
The Republican efforts to derail progress have to be kept in full public view and held responsible for their little conspiratorial and comical attempts.
The Republicans will not change they will just hide and scheme in darker places. Its funny that they dont know what the right thing to do is. They are searching for a new Masiah and he's not comming so they will continue to try and reinvent themselves with polls and what they think they can sell, rather than just do the right thing.
This lost wandering serach could end today with honesty and they would regain strength and power.
But how could they combine a subververting Obama Plan with honesty ? They cant so that cat wont change its stripes and will continue to provide all of us with entertainment until something finaly sticks

You misguided ,single celled thinking, blind little man. Do you honestly believe your party has done anything to increase our freedoms?
Your party has isolated America from the rest of the world and created martyrs and terrorist sympathisers where none previously existed resulting in the Patriot Act. Now that it has tested the waters of freedom it sank. Theres your freedom saving in a nutshell and unfortunately your mindset and brainwashed opinion has derailed freedom and security for the world with alienation of everyone you claim to offer it to.
Support you parties efforts and critisize the presidents efforts because the world has seen the cause and effect of your continued spreading of freedom.
And you will continue to ask yourself “Why dont they like us over there” , “We are giving them Democracy”
Dont ever cap on another Christian again because God will show you something and you may not like the educational process. Christians are fed up with being lied to by blinded, right winged , so called conservative types.
I love the term Liberal. It reveals the lack of understanding of brainwashed sheep who's numbers are dwindling yet it helps us identify the sheep to inform them .
Christ was by your definition a Liberal and the Pharisees conservative. Does this ring a bell. Does this tell you where your party stands today.
When judgement day comes do you think Christ will ask how much you saved in taxes or how many people you saved ?
So it seems thers a problem with the whole conservative movement . They are lost without a foundation based in reality. So let me be a messenger for Christ and try to lessen the pain of this lesson.
From now on when using the term conservative or liberal on any decision ask yourself what would Jesus do ?

Hands down you will see Christ was a Liberal Democrat and yes again the conservatives are still today Pharisees.
So while you tout the term LIBERAL as if its a bad and offensive term in reality its a compliment to be Chrst Like.
But what does that say for the term Conservative, well Pharisee is appropriate for now until you guys regain some foothold on something.
The Pharisee Policies forced on the world over the last two terms have left an engrained lesson on everyone except the Pharisees. You will still continue with blindness even after receiving instructions on how to base your parties decisions.
What would Jesus Do is the only policy that will save the Pharisee/Conservative Party. If you follow the What Would Jesus Do rule of thumb you will find your decisions becomming Democratic.
A hell of of place to wake up finding yourself ! Huh ?
So with this newly found reality what will you and your party do ?
The opposite of what Christ will do I bet !

this is a perfect example of a poor looser keyes didnt have what it takes to be a successful leader so he not only critizes the person he loses to but also the people who voted for him. maybe his new slogan should be IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN VOTE FOR ME(ONLY ENGLISH SPEAKING COLLEGE EDUCATED EXTEREMLY NIEVE ANGRY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO REGISTER TO VOTE) maybe then he would have a chance to be a winner
