Obama Makes Surprise Stop in Baghdad

MSNBC is reporting that President Obama has just landed in Baghdad, where he is scheduled to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and President Jalal Talabani. Obama is also expected to meet with U.S. troops at Camp Victory during his stay. Today marks Obama’s first visit to Iraq as president. He last traveled to Iraq in July. Obama arrived in Baghdad after concluding a week-long tour of Europe with a visit to Turkey.
