As an Obama supporter, I have been sorely disappointed in the actions relating to the treatment and indefinite detention of suspects.( I hate the word detainees, it softens what is really going on)

Ok, so the article is fine... whatever, but you would have thought the photo journalist might have snapped a pic a little more pertinent to the story. The two soldiers in the pic were just a couple of soldiers passing through Bagram on their way home from a VERY long deployment from elsewhere in Afghanistan. They had nothing to do with the Bagram detanies except that they got stuck in Bagram for a few nights waiting to get flown back to their families. But hey... it is a pretty good picture so who cares who they really are? Right? Sheesh.

As Ms. Eviatar states here, we can only HOPE that the Obama administration will accede to the instructions of the judge in these cases. But I do always hope, anyway.

As an Obama supporter, I have been sorely disappointed in the actions relating to the treatment and indefinite detention of suspects.( I hate the word detainees, it softens what is really going on)
