Type your comment here.
I am a Mississippi tax payer, and a native of Ackerman. I did not approve of Ray Mabus when he was govenor due to the fact that he had no respect for the armed forces. We are a military family and I am very much concerned that someone so lax in his support for the military forces should be even considered for the post of Sec. of the Navy. Then there is the moral issue - That says something for the judgment of the powers that be.

I find Mabu's behavior unethical and disgusting. I don't want a person who has no morals or ethics to become the Secretary of the Navy. The Navy in the past has had issues with women in service, why would we want Mabus as their chief when it's clear that he's a dirty, immoral player? It's the goal that matters to this man, not how he gets there. He makes my skin crawl.

Do a search for "Mabus" on Google. Some interesting things pop-up. F'rinstance: Is he the anti-Christ or will his death bring on the anti-Christ?

Sorry, it's clear I'm the only librul who's off-put enough by Mabus' icky behavior to note it on her website. But try to put yourself in Mrs. M's shoes. People have confessed murders to their priests & been protected. Mrs. Mabus was in a counsellng situation in which she was certainly encouraged to let it all hang out -- the first step toward reconciliation. Whatever Mabus' attorney supposedly advised, his behavior was bad & the priest's was inexcusable. And BTW, whaddaya bet the Gov "confessed" worse sins to his wife when the recorded was turned off -- that's what happens in divorces.

Take off your liberal glasses, Ackerman. Bad behavior is bad behavior whether the letter following the name is D or R. Mabus is one creepy guy.

Wonder if he'll be ferreting out gay seamen with his little recording devices.

The Constant Weader at RealityChex.com
