Omar isn't coming back, Stan:

http://fakirsca.blogspot.com/2009/02/life-and-t...

You're wasting your energy - and I speak as one who has expended a great deal of effort and time in the cause of repatriation. The law and morality are clear: he should be repatriated. The reality is, however, that if it was going to happend, then it would have happened by now.

I suspect that our government is not telling us what it thinks the real problem is with Omar Khadr's repatriation. I suspect that our government has concerns about the environment to which Omar Khadr would be returning. I know that I have concerns about this also.

I am from vancouver, canada and i wanted to comment on Omar Khadr. He shouldn't have been at Guantanamo to begin with. There are a lot of people here in canada who are working to get Omar Khadr back to canada. The gov. here is reactionary and racist so it is the people here who have a sense of justice that will get Omar Khadr back.President Obama should be making Guantanamo a priority instead of waiting a year to solve this problem.I know that there are people in other parts of the world that are helping to solve this problem. This problem can be solved easily if the president got the will to do it.

Stan Squires
