But if we continue to deny that we tortured, the evil will never see the light of day. Those that did it, will live to see a time when they will believe that torture is needed again, and we as Americans will not have the prosecution and punishment to point to and say it is against the laws of man and all that is good in the US.
We will not be able to make the case that we did that once and it was wrong, and we will never ever do it again.
