House Republicans, To Your Pitchforks
Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 2:49 pm
Greg Sargent reports:
Two freshman Republicans — at the direction of Eric Cantor and other House GOP leaders — will introduce a bill to “direct” Treasury to recoup the bonuses. The two Republicans are Rep. Paulsen of Minnesota and Rep. Lance of New Jersey.
If this is right, Republicans are choosing Bill Kristol over Rush Limbaugh. On his show today, Limbaugh scorched Republicans for getting “distracted” by bonuses of AIG employees. Kristol has told Republicans to channel anger at AIG into an anti-stimulus campaign.

“Kristol has told Republicans to channel anger at AIG into an anti-stimulus campaign.”
Why not an anti-drunk driving campaign while they're at it? It has about as much to do with AIG as the stimulus package.
