The statement about the USUN facility is also somewhat biased. You mention no argument yet NYC has seen the most deaths for any city outside of Iraq for civilian deaths from acts of terrorism. Lastly, if the current administration would stand-by their pre-election statements; we would be employment more direct-hire personnel to eliminate private security contractors. This term might seem useful and non-inflammatory to you in the context of this piece, but it might cause people to mentally picture the big scary looking guys who travel around with celebrities on the red carpet. Within reputable private security companies and government circles, the term bodyguard is not used, and is generally perceived in a derogatory manner. DSS Special Agents are highly trained in protection, federal law, criminal investigations and many other areas and should be referred to by their professional title. The private security contractors are also highly trained professionals. The bulk of their training and experience is derived from a military background.
