Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.), now the host of a syndicated radio show, is soliciting tips and sharing jokes on Twitter. His first question to the Twitterverse:
Why do U think Pres Obama has neglected to nominate at least 18 positions in the treasury dept and leave Tim Geithner virtually alone?
Jake Tapper of ABC News quickly replied that Obama has made three nominations since that story came out. Fred did not respond. Instead he commented on the president:
Sooo–if they made a self-reading teleprompter, would we even need an Obama???
Of all the Republicans to push the Obama TelePrompTer meme, Fred Thompson? Really?
