McClatchy-Ipsos Poll: Limbaugh Still Unpopular

The news service gives a heads-up on its coming voter survey:

About one of three Americans has a favorable opinion of radio talker Rush Limbaugh, while nearly half have an unfavorable opinion … the poll, which also measured approval ratings for President Obama and sentiment about the direction of the country, was conducted as the Obama White House engaged in a pitched battle with Limbaugh and sought to elevate the radio personality into the leader of the Republican Party.

Nothing surprising here: Why would Republicans have balked at the Limbaugh stories if they thought they were helping?
