The Eurofighter and similar projects in China and Russia cost about the same as the Raptor but do not come close to matching its capabilities. Also the call that we should be concentrating our resources on building unmanned fighters is a strange one because though unmanned fighters/bombers may be the future, it has nothing to do with the airframe and design of the plane. The planes that are being paraded as future unmanned fighters are toys. Give a Raptor unmanned capabilities and then you will have something.
