The CPAC Straw Poll
Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:59 am
CPAC attendees are filling out ballots that ask their takes on the issues (such as “establishing direct U.S. dialogue with countries like Iran and groups like Hamas”) and their choices for the 2012 presidential race.
The options:
Gov. Charles Crist (Fla.)
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich
Former N.Y. Mayor Rudy Giuliani
Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (Ark.)
Gov. Bobby Jindal (La.)
Gov. Sarah Palin (Alaska)
Gov. Tim Pawlenty (Minn.)
Rep. Ron Paul (Tex.)
Former Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.)
Gov. Mark Sanford (S.C.)
There’s also a write-in option, and “undecided.” And there’s a poll for “your favorite conservative media personality on either TV or radio”:
Glen Beck
Bill Bennett
Neal Boortz
Ann Coulter
Sean Hannity
Hugh Hewitt
Laura Ingraham
Rush Limbaugh
Michael Medved
Bill O’Reilly
Michael Reagan
Michael Savage
I’m really interested in this one, although Limbaugh might get a boost because he’s giving the closing speech. Also: No Joe Scarborough.

With the way things are shaping up, and based on what I heard this many say last year, I would have to say Ron Paul. I still like Huckabee but regret having not voting for Dr. Paul.

As a member of the GOP I affirm the so called conservative media personalities are for the most part nuts.
I wonder when each member of the so called conservative media read our founders wishes. Medved, is nothing more then a mouth who supports who ever is in power. He even lashed out for those of us who question Obama's birthcertificate. Rush, has some good points but he clearly support “W” even when W was busy stealing our freedoms. O'Reilly, is a nut who yells, screams, etc. OH hell you get my point.
The bottom line? Our nation has fallen due to poor leadership from both parties. The right gave W a blank check and now we have to suffer under Obama. I suggest we simply support the founders wishes and march on!

No Joe Scarborough for a reason. He gets a paycheck from MSNBC for a reason and it is not to help Republicans win elections.
