President Obama rolled out his budget proposal this morning, calling for a wide range of new spending measures, but also for deficit reduction through higher taxes on the wealthiest Americans and a drawdown in troop levels in Iraq.
Here’s the full text of the budget proposal (PDF), under the title “A New Era of Responsibility: Renewing America’s Promise.” It’s a quick read at 134 pages.
