Among the 33 Percenters

KDKA in Pittsburgh has video of angry conservatives protesting and heckling Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Penn.) over his support for the economic stimulus package. Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas) took to the airwaves to make a promise.
I would like to say tonight that if the American people will let the Republicans back in charge, the 60 percent of this bill that won’t be spent until after the next election, we’ll cut it off and let it go to the Americans.
Left out of both of these stories is the fact that only 33 percent of Americans, according to Gallup, oppose the stimulus. Also left out is the fact that multiple Republicans who voted against the stimulus (but not Gohmert) have returned to their districts to brag about projects that will be coming home, thanks to the stimulus.
This is a strange media moment, in which Republicans and CNBC hosts can argue that a wave of populist outrage is endangering the Democrats who want to shell out money for special projects and mortgage rescues, even though most Americans are fine with both ideas.

I also forgot to mention that the republican's are famous for dishing it out and not being able to take it! Look at the mess in Minnesota due to the lying republican, former senator Norm Coleman. They need to seat Senator Elect Al Franken immediately and quit wasting Minnesota tax payers money. All of their hidden agendas are unethical and self absorbed.

I think after all that the last Republican administration did to this economy it is time for Republicans and their supporter to shut up, sit down, and pay attention. If they don't have the courage to support our new President in this monumental undertaking the least they can do is get out of the way. If they want the future support of the American people they definitely do not want to be seen as obstructionists. That position will not serve them well.
Don't get on the Rush Limbaugh boat, it's sinking.

The “funniest” thing mentioned is the conservatives trashing the bill then bragging to their constituents about all the pork that they are bringing home. Here in AZ the GOP has all over the airwaves doing both, often in the same conversation. What a bunch of hypocrites!

Where were all of these angry conservatives when Bush passed the TARP Bill? Why have they not called for his blood when the money was spent willy-nilly to the banks and insurance companies without any oversight? What, was Jan 20th some magical date that made all of this Obama's fault?
