Let's see: GOPer making a hasty decision, rethinks his position, takes a different position, and vote for me…well, it was one GOP candidate for Prez: John Sidney McCain. seems this uncertainty and political flightiness is rampant in the GOP. now Gregg has shown it.

The issue with moving the census is Democrat Party and Obama Administration folks playing around with the numbers for political advantage. If Rove had tried to pull this, the Democrats would be very angry.

No it's because Gregg is neckdeep in abramoff scandals-with aids to Gregg taking HUGE amounts of $ from Gregg for Indian gambling in NH..
Gregg was also part of teh St. Andrews golf outing with Delay..
Recall Delay was instrumental in redistricting on behalf of teh GOP…so setting up Gregg to try the same since? Hispanic caucus put a halt to it..and WH took control–that's when Gregg backed out..
Po'd he got punked by TEAM Obama???
scared of new revelations about Abramoff ties coming out..why not running for Senate in 10??
That's my guess..
too many Abramoff ties about to bust wide open….

Right now the big GOP campaign slogan for 2010 seems to be:

"For two years, as Americans were sinking, I refused to bail. But vote for me now and I'll start bailing!"
