The Bounce is Back

For two weeks, Republicans cited polls from Rasmussen Reports to prove that the stimulus package “proposed by Barack Obama and the Congressional Democrats” was fading in popularity, and that their push to stop it was winning converts. Today’s poll on the stimulus suggests that President Obama’s publicity blitz has reversed the trend and won over a plurality of Americans.
Do you favor or oppose the economic recovery package proposed by Barack Obama and the Congressional Democrats?
Favor – 44% (+7)
Oppose – 40% (-3)
Not Sure – 15% (-5)
This confirms a Gallup poll that showed stimulus support surging seven points since the president started his PR tour.

Stripped from Stimulus bill!
The two E-VERIFY amendments that had been accepted by the House Appropriations Committee were stripped without discussion or debate.
DEADLINE–NOW!
Now all we are left is a bill that places illegal immigrant interests above those of hard working American families. E-Verify MUST BE PERMANENT, TO STOP THIS TRAVESTY OF OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS AND WE MUST END CORRUPTION IN WASHINGTON. REP. CALVERT: BILLIONS OF AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS TO CREATE JOBS FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?
Voice your anger and frustration at Pelosi and Reid, they should be ashamed that they are ignoring the American worker.

It's a (not so) odd thing. I saw the earlier Rasmussen poll all over the conservative web sites. But somehow, this new poll isn't getting the same play. And the latest Gallup poll on the stimulus plan doesn't show up either! Hmm, I guess it's about all the news that fits our mindset.
