		<description>How do we entertain the notion that the government can just say &quot;state secrets&quot; and get the case dismissed outright? Assuming it does not lead to abuse, shouldn&#039;t the proper response of a court if the government asserts the state secrets privilege to enter a default judgment against the government and grant the remedy the plaintiffs seek?</description>

		<description>Power corrupts - absolute power corrupts absolutely. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am not surprised in any way that the government acts the way it does. It is SOP and each government, no matter which party, cuts off another sclice of the salami.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;There is a basic flaw in the US judiciary system: Politicians appoint judges. How can you have an independant judicial system if Politics is allowed to interfere?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In my view the US political system was (may be) well conceived but was used soon by personal interests. Democracy is something different from what is practised in the US.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;And the beat goes on...</description>
