Some weird spin from Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele:
Steele, before ducking into an elevator on on the second floor of the Capitol: “I thought it was very, very interesting. It looks like he’s trying to very hard to shore up support from Democrats” because “he’s upside-down” in the polls.
Pollster.com’s current polling average has President Obama’s job approval at 62.5 percent and his personal favorable rating at 69.2 percent. That is upside-down from what President Bush’s job numbers were like from 2005 onward, but I don’t think that’s what Steele talking about.
