Looks like all the paperwork’s been filed. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has set CIA Director-designee Leon Panetta’s confirmation hearing for Thursday at the unusual hour of 2:30 p.m., when everyone’s blood sugar will be crashing from lunch. Time to get clarity on whether there really are loopholes in President Obama’s recent executive orders for rendition, or black sites or other aspects of the Dark Side.

Pres. Obama has got to stop letting the Republicans AND THE MEDIA destroy people he’s tapping. He knows better than this. I’m disgusted by what was done to Tom Daschle. Soon, these people really will be examining people's feces for acceptable amounts of fiber.

Funny how Republicans could find no fault with ANY of the revelations about Palin’s background and KNOWLEDGE. I'm getting really disgusted with of all this hypocrisy. Our current and former presidents were admitted cocaine users, but Michael Phelps is being destroyed for hitting a little weed? No problem if McCain was up to his neck in Keating 5 dirt, but Daschle and Panetta weren't supposed to earn money or make a living of any kind?

Obama needs to stand up for his nominees like he did for himself when they tried to slime him. It's all utter nonsense.
