This is long overdue, but I'm not sure it's going to make much of a difference. As a society we need to start raising our daughters to ASK for what they want rather than politely waiting for someone to notice them.

Yay! It's about time that someone in Washington finally stood up and turned the tables in favor of the unsung backbone of this country's economy --the tens of millions of low wage earning employees that all too often happen to be female. Employers have been doing and using dirty deeds and tricks (short of murder) for way too long when it comes to sticking it to their employees -the bread and butter of their business- out of money and/or benefits rightly due to them. Unfortunately, businesses all too often get away with it because they usually have deep pockets to "persuade" their highly corrupt Republican congresspersons.

GO OBAMA!!!!
