I assume $400 million would pay for a lot of new versions of MATLAB (made in Massachusetts) or Mathematica (from Illinois), new faster computers (probably from Dell, Apple, or Sun), new bigger hard drives, etc.

Do Indiana universities do any graduate level research in climate change? If not, they won't get much of the money. Purdue has something. So does Indiana U Bloomington.

You'd think a farm state would be interested in this sort of thing.
