Since you obviously aren't giving accused the presumption of innocence, for reasons detailed in the very same sentence, why bother to pretend that you are? The Justice Department has an investigation open on this guy, and he’s innocent until proven guilty and all, but it’s extremely hard to imagine two Muslim women living in a country where rape carries such an awful social stigma making a frivolous accusation.

You know, there's a huge difference between “innocent until proven guilty” and “innocent until proven guilty and all.” Since you obviously aren't giving accused the presumption of innocence, for reasons detailed in the very same sentence, why bother to pretend that you are?
