So, when we have a Republican president, Democrats capitulate on every issue. Now we have a Democrat in the White House and… yes, you guessed it, Democrats capitulate on almost every issue. Remind me why I was supposed to be so excited by Mr. Obama? I could have sworn the man had a back bone, but maybe he had it removed as part of some 'compromise'.

How about standing firm and showing the American people that the Republicans would rather be partisan than fix the mess they created. Uggghh!

Thanks, ajm. I was going to put in a subtitle about how condoms don't stimulate the economy, but they do make the recession last longer…

But in all seriousness, I don't agree with the House Dems on this question. Health care spending, including contraception, is an excellent way to stimulate the economy. Obama just caved for some obscure political calculation involving bipartisan cred with people who won't vote for his bill and don't believe in bipartisanship.
